Time Tracking

Log time per issue with one click. Aggregate by user, team, project, sprint, or day. Export-ready for client invoicing.

GitHub Integration

Link branches to issues, auto-sync PR status, receive webhook events. Lane-based triggers auto-move cards when code ships.

Epics & Timeline

Group issues into epics with color coding, start/end dates, and progress tracking. Plan your roadmap at a higher level.

Audit-Grade Compliance

Hash-chained, tamper-proof logs with user snapshots on every action. Know who did what, when, and prove it. AI calls logged too.

Teams & Roles

Five-tier role system: Admin, Manager, Team Lead, Member, Viewer. Two-tier authorization checks at both route and action level.

Manage your board
from the terminal

kendo.dev ships a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server that connects your AI coding assistant directly to your project board. Claude Code, Cursor, and Codex can read issues, log time, and move cards without you ever leaving the IDE.

Read issues and context — AI gets the full picture: description, comments, blocking dependencies, and linked PRs.
Create, update, and move issues — Ship a fix? The AI moves the card to Done and logs the time spent.
Plan sprints and log time — Your AI can query time entries, manage sprint assignments, and track epics.
Link branches automatically — When your AI creates a branch, it's linked to the right issue instantly.

Common questions

What is kendo.dev?

kendo.dev is a project management tool built specifically for software development teams. It combines kanban boards, sprint planning, built-in time tracking, and deep integrations with GitHub and AI coding assistants through the Model Context Protocol (MCP). Hosted in Amsterdam with database-per-tenant isolation for GDPR compliance. Currently in active development.

How does the MCP integration work?

kendo.dev provides a Model Context Protocol server with 20+ tools and 10 resources that connects directly to AI coding assistants like Claude Code, Cursor, and Codex. AI agents can read issues, create tasks, log time, plan sprints, link branches, and update board status — all without leaving the terminal.

When can I try kendo.dev?

kendo.dev is currently in active development. We're building in public and plan to open access via a waitlist soon. Follow the docs to stay up to date on progress and upcoming features.

How is kendo.dev different from Linear, Jira, or GitHub Projects?

kendo.dev includes built-in time tracking (Linear doesn't), hash-chained audit logging (Jira only at Enterprise tier), and EU hosting by default (most competitors are US-hosted). It's one of the first PM tools with an MCP server for AI coding assistants.

Where is my data stored?

kendo.dev is hosted on Fly.io in Amsterdam, Netherlands. Each workspace gets a dedicated database (database-per-tenant isolation), meaning your data is physically separated from other tenants. GDPR-compliant by architecture, not by policy.
